4. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Employment

The Firehouse February 2012- Present date

As the firehouse is a pub restaurant it was perfect for as I had all the skills to do the job to a high standard. I am currently mainly working on the bar opposed to the restaurant and prefer doing so as it gets a lot busier and I prefer to be active and working. I really enjoy the level of interaction that comes with my job as I am an extremely social confident person.

Café No.5 March 2006- February 2012

Duties in this establishment ranged from food preparation to waitressing. Working in a restaurant has developed not only my efficient skills in catering and customer service but also my confidence has grown due to the high level of interaction, developing relationships with colleagues and customers aided by my friendly nature. In order to do my job efficiently and meet the high demands placed on me a lot of patience and skill is needed to keep everything running smooth.  I decided to leave here as the business had been taken over by New owners so I thought id have a fresh start.

Champions Sports bar January 2007- September 2011

Many of the skills I have developed in the resturant have been applied to working in a bar. Here I have a lot of responsibilites as I am also the cleaner on a weekend and also I am a key holder. This is due to me being extremely reliable, efficent and good underpressure always delivering to a high standard. Once again without good customer services skills are key especially when working with alcohol. Finished due to place closing down.

SPECIAL SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE

Determinded, patient, kind nature, honest, driven, motivated, friendly, energetic and a quick learner.

Since I was young I’v had a keen interst in sport winning many medals in running and horse riding and also competing in as many school sports teams as I could. this shows my level of determination and self motivation to achieve.

I also have been to Uganda doing charity work with school. To attend this each team member had to raise £3000 plus money for equipment I did this by organising events and working at any possibilty. When we was there we participated in both teaching and the building of a class room. Since then I have also travelled to Austrila for 6weeks with a friend 3 of which I was travelling alone.

I have also a keen interest in interior deign and love reading journals such as ELLE decorathion.

Ever since i turned 16 I also regulary give blood with my dad as giving back gives me a feeling of satisfaction.
