Negative and blind drawing

Continuous line drawing without looking.

A series of 5 blind drawing of scissors. Each drawing had to overlap and get ligher in shade as they decend.

Negative space

Next we had to create two images on one page using negative drawing. I found this difficult to stop myself from just drawing an outline and colouring around the edges.

Our third drawing was to place two positive and two negative images on one page. I decided to only place one negative image on the page as i thought it may be too much to have two.

I was pleasently suprised with the outcome of the oil bar as i normally dont like using a really messy medium.
